I've had the pleasure of playing for Heaven twice this past year. The grace and energy that she exhibits onstage is fabulous and beyond compare. She truly loves to dance and I will gladly work with her again anytime!
I have had the pleasure of enjoying Heaven as a performer and as an instructor. Watching her dance is mesmerizing, she's graceful and powerful! It is amazing watching her hit every beat and capturing the audience with her personality! As a fairly new belly dancer, it has been extremely valuable taking workshops from Heaven! She is very knowledgeable, current, specific but approachable and inviting. I would recommend every student, professional belly dancer or anyone who is interested in oriental dance to take a workshop with Heaven! She is inspiring!
Heaven Mousalem is an excellent and enchanting Belly Dance Artist. She is very entertaining and enjoyable to watch. She is a beautiful, elegant, exciting, sexy, skilled, talented and accomplished dance performer. She displays strong dance technique and posture and is very proficient in all aspects of belly dance artistry including solo performance, group choreography, lyrical dancing, drum solo, sword and other balancing, veil dancing, contortion and flexibility skills, as well as playing finger cymbals and doumbek drum. Heaven wears beautiful costumes and is simply gorgeous. In addition, I know her to have knowledge of Arabic language and culture. Being that belly dance is part of her cultural heritage, she seems to have a special connection to this dance form that is reflected beautifully in her expression of this dance. She has been trained by an amazing dancer and excellent teacher Shabnam Bellydance and through this training has become a strong teacher as well. Heaven Mousalem has EVERYTHING it takes to do what ever she likes a Belly Dance Artist and Teacher.
I am endlessly impressed by Heaven's grace and style. She is absolutely lovely to watch, and one of the best dancers I've ever had the pleasure of witnessing perform. Regarding her teaching style: I have never in my life learned a choreography so quickly and so thoroughly as I did from Heaven. Her workshops are so organized and professional, I hardly need to do anything at all when attending in order to learn from her. This is a testament to her amazing teaching ability. She is one of those rare dancers who is excellent at dancing, but can also teach it. I look forward to dancing with, and learning from Heaven for many years to come.
